Keystone Cobra 11s Win the Battle of the Borders
The Cobras were invited to this state tournament by placing of 3rd in 2009 to
play in the Nebraska/Iowa Border Class in the “AAA” division. The team
finished 3-1 beating Iowa’s state champion and helping Nebraska win the Battle
of the Borders winning the clinching game. Great job by the team!

6/18 The Keystone Cobra 10’s coached by Tom Anderson and Steve Lefeber went
5-0 to win the Beatrice Bullet tournament last weekend. The team played
excellent baseball out scoring the opponents 56 to 7.
Best yet, the home team complimented the team on both its players and fans great
sportsmanship.
The team is 28-3 on the year. |

5/26 The Keystone
Cobra 10’s coached by Tom Anderson and Steve Lefeber finished second in the West
Omaha Classic tournament this weekend and are 19-3 on the season. |

Cobras
Our guys won our
first tournament for the year, beating the host team, Papillion Jr. Titans by a
score of 10 to 3. We broke a close game open with a 7 run fourth inning. Our
other wins in the tournament were 5 to 0 over the Ralston Rams, and 6 to 2 over
the Iowa Xplosion from Des Moines. Our pitching and defense were very good, and
we have really been hitting the ball well. |
